Canadian Journalist.ca, an independent news media site, is owned by the Stray Light Media Group in St John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. It was founded in 2013 by veteran professional journalists as Facts and Opinions.com, a boutique journal of reporting and analysis, in words and images.
As an independent, non-partisan, and employee-owned organization, the site was re-branded in 2021 as CanadianJournalist.ca, with a focus on Canada.
